Duncan said the suspect was taken into the custody. Everett Police Officer Kerby Duncan said that at about that time the Mini Cooper was involved in a crash with two other vehicles about 2 12 miles away from the scene of the shooting after a chase. Skagit County SMART is sending out this release as an update regarding the independent investigation into the death of 51-year-old David A. Everett officer Kerby Duncan told the Everett Herald a suspect was taken into custody at the scene of the crash.
